The Calouste Gulbenkian Garden is the venue where the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and the Center of Modern Art are all located. This is, perhaps, one of the most culturally-oriented gardens in Lisbon, so to speak, given it accommodates the said institutions and that plenty of art-related events are held here, not to mention the fact sundry sculptural works by national and international artists are scattered throughout the park.

The park was designed by an entire team of architects, of which the most resonant names are Goncalo Ribeiro Telles and Antonio Viana Barreto, who tried to conceive the garden such as to provide the best set for the foundation, the museum and the center. Amongst others, the garden is pegged out by an artificial pond and an open-air theater. Some of the highlights refer to the rose garden and to the water gardens.

Obviously, this is one of the top parks in Lisbon for visitors keen on sampling the best of the tourist opportunities they can spot in the capital of Portugal.
