Located in the Monsanto Forest Park, the Alvito Park is one of the most popular family-oriented recreation parks in Lisbon. It is fitted with all sorts of facilities intended for the use of the little ones: swings, towers that can be climbed by the kids, and a wooden train, for instance. The ever so popular Adventure Park is also a highlight of the venues, at least as far as the children are concerned. There are also several swimming pools, ideal for relaxation and cooling down during the hot summer months. The scenery is pegged out by tress and shrubs which cast a pleasant and refreshing shade here and there within the precincts of the park.
